ELLIE WARD (Florence Nightingale)

After leaving school, Ellie moved from Bolsover to London to attend the Central School of Speech & Drama. 

Ellie is a long term collaborator with George Gunby, and she was just 16 years old when she drew critical acclaim for her performance as Rita in Willy Russell's 'Educating Rita' for Belper Arts Festival. Amongst her most recent roles have been Nancy (Oliver Twist), Iago (Othello) and Mary Queen Of Scots (Elizabeth & Mary). As an actress Ellie has been described as brave and innovative, traits which were visible in her performance in XXXXXX which she co-wrote with George Gunby.
